Red Perihelion

Author's pendant from the collection Cosmos, inspired by the phenomenon of perihelion – the moment when a planet is closest to its star.

Three glass forms in intense shades of red and pink have been hand-embedded in a textured tin and copper setting.

The composition evokes a planetary system pierced by warm light – dynamic, unruly, full of energy.

Every detail was handmade – from the texture of the metal to the arrangement of the glass elements.

Dichroic glass on a transparent base, surgical steel, Wissmach glass, and Spectrum. Selected models also use copper and patinated tin.
